I'm currently in education, located in South Devon. I'll have started my course at university by the 19th of September!
I recently finished a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Software Design and Development, where I managed to achieve the highest achievable grade - D*D*D* (Triple Distinction Star - or 100% over 2 years!), which qualifies as 420 UCAS tariff points!
I have chosen to pursue my interest in computing at the University of Plymouth, where I will be studying BSc (Hons) Computing & Games Development View the course here!
I've been interested in computing from an early age. When I was just 8, my father brought home the chassis of 17 different computers, containing older components ranging from Pentium 3s to Celerons. I'd come home from school and challenge myself to learn all the components inside a system and understand how they operate on a basic level. I saw this as a way to keep myself occupied as I come from a large family - so things got pretty hectic! In the end, I managed to get at least 8 of these systems working to a usable extent without needing to buy any additional parts, but by changing components in each system with parts from other systems with compatible components!

What am I doing currently?
Now that my education at a lower level is coming to an end, I am preparing for life at University. To do so, I have been trying to prepare by improving on my ability to communicate with others and have made a significant effort to ensure that the work I produce is of the highest quality it could be, hopefully ensuring that my journey through higher education will not be as much of a struggle!
My other responsibilities include jobs such as image manipulation via Photoshop, video creation and manipulation, 3D animation, basic social media management and a whole heap of other technical things
Currently, I'm working on putting together a Christmas Light Show sequenced to music. This will be my last big project for Jadecliff before university!
I also work with other technologies both inside and outside of work. These include .Net languages such as Visual Basic and C# when building console or windows form applications inside Visual Studio! I aim to improve my abilities within these languages and to expand my knowledge to other languages - specifically C++!
Outside of the coding environment, I create 3D graphics using Blender - An open-source program.

Computing was one of my first interests - and as my skills have developed with both hardware and software elements of computing, I feel that I have the freedom to create whatever I want in a way that I feel is best. There aren't many limits, especially in the design process.
